The MDT Elite rifle scope rings offer a robust and lightweight mounting system for your optics. They are made of precision-machined aluminum and are available in diameters of 30 mm, 34 mm, and 35 mm.

The two diameter options are available in four different heights (measured from the top edge of the rail to the center of the track).

• The main body is manufactured on a state-of-the-art automated 7-axis CNC machine tool.

The stepped base-cap interface allows the fasteners to be tightened on one side before the final alignment of the riflescope.

MDT precision scope rings are designed and manufactured according to STANAG 4694, also known as the NATO specification. This means that the scope ring sits firmly on the top of the scope mounting rail and pressure is applied to the underside of the angled rail surfaces to ensure a stable connection (see illustration below).
In contrast, mounts conforming to the US MIL-STD-1913 specification are only attached to the angled sides of the rail. This creates a small gap between the top of the rail and the bottom of the mount, significantly reducing the contact area between the mount and the rail.
NATO tests have shown that the STANAG mounting method increases the robustness of the connection, resulting in improved alignment repeatability. MDT Elite precision riflescope rings can be mounted on riflescope mounting rails that conform to both STANAG and MIL-STD specifications.
